The Audubon County Early Childhood Organization is a 501c3 non profit organization seeking to support early childhood care in Audubon County.  Based on census data and information from Childcare Resource and Referral, Audubon County continually has a deficit of available childcare slots to support working families.  ACECO was formed as a result of concerned families, businesses and organizations recognizing the need for childcare options in the county.  While seeking to support in home providers, ACECO is currently overseeing the opening of a licensed non-profit childcare center in Audubon.
